No. The preview is a rough version built from your store's public data and runs in the browser. We design the real app with you and build it for iOS and Android. What does an app of my own cost? That depends on what the app should do. We clarify the scope in a call, then you receive a written offer. Do I have to maintain content twice? No. Products, prices, stock and collections come straight from Shopify. What you change in the store also shows in the app. Do I own the app? Yes. The app appears under your name in the stores; code and store accounts belong to you. Do I need an Apple developer account? Yes, as a company. Apple requires a D-U-N-S number for it, and the review sometimes takes a few days. We guide you through the sign-up. How do my customers get the app? Through hints in the store, a QR code in the parcel and your emails. We set that up with you for the launch. What about updates? Small changes go live without a review by Apple or Google, often on the same day. New features we submit to the stores. What happens to my data? For the preview we only read what your store shows publicly.
